Career growth and professionalism are important to our members. We developed our Continued Competency Program (CCP) to help them remain safe and skillful throughout their career.
The CCP ensures members continue to provide ethical and responsible client care by reinforcing their knowledge, skills, and judgment through professional development.
Members must complete a total of 20 CCP credits every two years in continued competency activities, including ethics, CPR, and First Aid. We audit members regularly to ensure they meet these requirements.
If a member is non-compliant, we work with them to ensure they understand and meet the requirements. We may revoke their membership if they continue to be non-compliant.
