What is Ayurvedic Kansa Vatki Foot Treatment?
The Ayurvedic Kansa Vatki Foot Massage™ is a relaxing health-care modality, which by way of the moves performed balances the body, mind and spirit.
Kansa Vatki is the unique art of massaging the feet with a metal bowl consisting of Copper, Zinc and Tin. The three doshas, Vata, Pitta and Kapha, are balanced while simultaneously detoxifying and eliminating excess heat from the body. The session is deeply revitalizing for tired feet and legs. Most people sleep soundly through the treatment.
There are 107 Marma points (Ayurvedic pressure points) all over the body and during the Kansa Vatki Foot Treatment seven points are worked on each foot and lower leg. Each point has a powerful and direct influence one or more organs or sytems within the body. The effects include boosting energy and helping to balance the flow of Prana (life force energy) throughout the entire body. The warm towel compressions at the end of the treatment are well received by clients.
